Recap: What is Demo Day?
We’re holding this Demo Day to give you the opportunity to showcase the prototype/solution that you’ve built. We’ve invited senior public sector representatives in charge of our COVID-19 tech response and who would be able to scale your solutions to help Singapore’s COVID-19 efforts.
These representatives include Minister Vivian Balakrishnan, Senior Minister of State Janil Puthucheary, Permanent Secretary Ng Chee Khern, Deputy Secretary Tan Kok Yam, and several others from various agencies.
Registration to present is now open
We have now opened up registration to present at Demo Day, taking place this Saturday 2-4pm (see link above). We have up to fourteen 5-minute presentation slots for Demo Day, and will be shortlisting presenters on Friday afternoon, after all DevPost submissions are in. In the event there are >14 shortlisted presentations, we will go by first-come-first-served, so register your interest ASAP!
You can register to present anytime from now until Friday, 12pm (i.e. close of Idea Sprint submissions). You can register to present concurrently whilst working on your DevPost submission, as long as both are in by Friday, 12pm.
Preparing your Submissions
After registering, the next step is preparing your submission. Please complete your DevPost submission by fleshing out the details of your submission. If you'd like to present, do include details on what you will be demonstrating, and attach presentation slides / videos / the demo where relevant. This will help us (organisers) give you any guidance or ask any clarifications before presentations, and will also help us make the call on shortlisting presenters if need be.
If you have any questions about the hackathon, please post on the Slack Workspace.
